Her character then seeks revenge on her rapists. Steven R. Monroe helmed the film, which came out on October 8 10th, 2010. Butler started shooting The Stranger Within with Estella and William Baldwin, the psychological thriller set in Mallorca beginning in November of 2011. This film would also be made in Copenhagen Denmark as well as New York City. In June 2012, she was joined by Michael Biehn in the Los Angeles production of Treachery. Butler played in The Demented (2013), produced by Michael Welch with Kayla and Michael Welch.

Ferland has, on top of being nominated for an Emmy nomination she has received throughout her career, has received nearly fifty other awards. They include the Young Artist Award and a CAMIE Award.
